Michele joined the Design Basics team in the spring of 2015 as the brand manager. She is responsible for managing the company’s brand ID, social media, and email marketing efforts as well as assisting with various administrative functions in the business office.
Michele’s background includes marketing, sales support, and customer service in the manufacturing, relocation, and training and development industries. She is also knowledgeable in database management, event and trade show coordination, and accounting functions.
Michele and her husband Scott have two children – Brynnleigh and Kaden – and a rescue retriever mix named Polly. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, music, movies, live theater, and traveling as well being the leader of her daughter’s Girl Scout troop.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, and a Master of Arts degree in Marketing, Communication Studies, and Advertising, both from the University of Nebraska. She takes great pride in her work and appreciates the variety of responsibilities she has at Design Basics.
