Construction
Drawings - Multiple Sets Printed on Bond
Most people are familiar with Blueprint paper which is a standard type of
light-sensitive photographic paper (called diazo paper) that architectural
plans were commonly printed on. Blueprints cannot be reproduced and
fade over time.
Design Basics uses another type of paper called Bond. There are two main
advantages of Bond prints over Blueprints. Bond prints can be reproduced
multiple times and do not fade over time.
Page size varies depending on the complexity of the plan. Typical
pages are 18" x 24", while others are 24" x 36" and 36"
x 48".
