Home Plan Makeover is the result of a recent think
tank in which five women and Design Basics ’ designers
transformed a popular existing plan, the Briarwood,
2956-33A-179 into a totally new plan, the
Kingsley, 42047-33A-179
To allow you to follow the changes, the women ’s
suggestions are highlighted in 15 numbers that
correspond with the completed floor plan at right.
The original plan, the Briarwood, 2956-33A-179,
is shown at left. The new plan, the Brinkley, 42047-33A-179,
created by the group with the help of a Design Basics’ designer,
is shown below, along with photos of the participants.
Their suggestions are highlighted in 11 numbers
that correspond with the new floor plan at right.
To accommodate the changes, the original
plan’s 1806 finished square feet grew to 2485
sq. ft.
