The home got a fresh look on the outside, as well, with two double gables, elliptical arch windows and a pleasing combination of stucco and stone.

To accommodate the changes, the original plan’s 2,057 finished square feet grew to 2,449.

Meet The Women
TRACY DECARLO began in residential construction by selling and designing high-end cabinet and storage systems. She later created Detailed Solutions to help homeowners incorporate function, efficiency and organization into their new home or remodeling projects. Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband and four “kids” – three with fur and one with feathers.	CEC FARNSWORTH is the president of Trainco Associates, a training and consulting firm in business productivity based in Omaha, Nebraska. An adjunct instructor at two local universities, Cec is also a realtor with CBS Home. Originally from Montana, she has one son, three stepchildren and one granddaughter. Her favorite activities include traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.	KATHI SENITA is the special education director for her local school district in Michigan, overseeing students, staff and Programs. Her husband is a builder and owner of PaSen Builder, Inc. In the summer, they enjoy riding bikes with their four children, ages 9 to 18. Kathi also enjoys reading professional education journals, sewing and scrapbooking.

TERRI SHARRER and her husband built their own house 18 months ago. Terri was able to make the house a woman-centric home through what she ’d learned working for a custom homebuilder for eight years and by reading Her Home magazine. In her spare time, Terri likes to kickbox, spend time with her sons and attend Indianapolis Colts ’ games.	CONNIE WOOD has been a kitchen designer for 16 years. She and her husband of 31 years have built two homes. They have one son and a 19-month-old grandson. Connie manages the kitchen department and design work for the Indianapolis location of Morgan-Wightman. In her free time, she enjoys quilting, knitting and crocheting.
